Commission - Anniversary Oil Painting

I've had this one under wraps until the unveiling, which was tonight. I'm happy to say Sherry was very pleased with it. This was a gift from her husband Stephen as an anniversary gift. This piece is very personal to them as the bottle is from their honeymoon, the vintage is the year they got married, their initials are on the cork and their name is on the label instead of the winery's and the glasses are theirs as well. They're both wine connoisseurs so this was definitely a piece that set well with them.
I'm honored to be a part of a celebration that signifies love and commitment towards one another. It really is a unique item, not only is it a piece of their history and something totally one of a kind but it's thoughtful to boot. He even had me set it up on an easel in the restaurant he took her too as part of the decor to surprise her with it. He spared no expense on hiring me to paint it, I'd say he did well for an anniversary gift. He's set the bar for next year.
